Band Chronology
Founded in 1989. First gigs at the infamous Albion bar in San Francisco's Mission district. Influenced by Art Ensemble of Chicago, and Monk, and Mingus, and Cecil Taylor, and Ellington, and Ornette, and Sun Ra.

First incarnation consisted of:
Annelise Zamula - tenor, alto and soprano saxophones and flute
David Paul Mihaly - drumset
William Martin Noertker - fretless electric bass
Tracy McMullen - tenor saxophone

Released CD, Quaternity , Crystal Egg Records (1993)

McMullen quit the band at the end of 1991, and the band continued on with revolving fourth member from 1992 until 1993. Fourth members during this time included: Hugh Schick - trumpet, Jim Peterson - saxophones, David Cooper - marimba/vibraphone, Tom Yoder - trombone, Mara Fox - trombone, Eva Festa - violin,  Mike Richards - guitar, Graham Connah - keyboards.

Jon Anthony Birdsong joined the band in 1993
