from the 1991 release
After The End of
the World Coretet
The Yellow Tape
out-of-print
soon to be re-released on CD
Sarasvati is the Hindu goddess of all arts:
music, painting, sculpture,
dance, writing.
She presented the gift of writing to mankind
so that her songs could be
preserved.
She is the mother of the Vedas.
She is depicted on the back of a swan or peacock,
with four arms, with which she plays the lute or drum.
She is considered to be the rival of Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth.
